Private property with Grand Teton Views, a main house, and a guest house. ***Property may only be rented once in a 31 day period.*** **Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.** Hidden in plain sight by its unassuming approach and purposefully designed landscaping is a stunning estate that is as cozy as it is contemporary. As elegant as its design is, it appears effortless. Consisting of a 4,043-square foot, three-bedroom main home and an 855-square foot, two-bedroom guest house set on 11 acres through which wends Spring Creek. If Elk Pass was most anywhere other than Jackson Hole, you’d arrive and never leave it. This home is meant for unwinding, hanging out, reconnecting, and relaxing. (Since it is in Jackson Hole, we expect most guests to leave to explore the nearby national parks, ski, hike, or watch wildlife. In that case, unwinding here after a day outdoors will feel that much more deserved.) Between the guest and main houses, Elk Pass has beds for 14 guests. As you key in the code to open the gate at the entrance to this estate’s driveway, you find yourself wondering where the house is. All you can see are pine and aspen trees. The home remains hidden until you are almost upon it. The big reveal doesn’t come when the home appears in view, but when you walk in the front door. Here, a textured, curated, warm, and open interior greets you (also, a fabulous architectural brass and metal lighting fixture immediately overhead). Elk Pass' ground floor is dedicated to a variety of public spaces—from an area with a bar and custom pool table to formal and informal living rooms, dining area, and kitchen. These rooms have views of the Tetons and/or of Spring Creek as it flows through the back yard. The heart of the ground floor is an open combined kitchen/dining/living area. There is a natural gas fire feature near the dining table, which seats ten, and in the family room area is a natural gas fireplace, and more views of the Tetons. Elk Pass’ professional-grade kitchen is as stunning as it is functional. Kitchen windows look out on Spring Creek. (Also visible is the hot tub.) A covered patio off the kitchen has a built-in Wolf gas grill. On the ground floor are numerous doors to the outside; when weather permits, open these and enjoy the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living. Paths wind through the estate’s 11 acres, including one with a bridge over Fish Creek; benches abound. The home’s three bedroom suites are upstairs. The two guest bedroom suites are in their own wing, which also includes built-in desks and workspaces for two. One bedroom suite has a king size bed and a bathroom with a combined shower/tub. The second guest room has four built-in twin size bunk beds and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. These rooms share a small washer/dryer combo. (For those times when you don’t want to use the ground-floor laundry room, which has two washers and two driers.) Between the guest wing and the primary suite is the landing, which is furnished as yet another space to relax and hang out and has views of the Tetons and Mt. Glory. The primary wing includes an office/work space for two; two walk-in closets (each with its own safe); an oversize bathroom with a double vanity, freestanding deep soaking tub, make-up counter, separate WC, and walk-in shower with two shower heads; a king size bed; a natural gas fireplace, and a private balcony with Teton views. The guest house is detached, but accessible from the main house via a covered walkway. The guest house uses the same materials palette as the main house, just in a miniaturized space. The two bedrooms here share a bathroom. One bedroom has a king size bed; the second has a full/full bunk bed. The guest house living room/kitchen opens onto a private patio. Other amenities in the main house include a home gym, a dry sauna, and a dumbwaiter that travels from the garage up to the guest suites. Downtown Jackson is about ten minutes away by car. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Teton Village are about 20 minutes. The Moose entrance to Grand Teton National Park is about a half hour’s drive. Once your lodging is secure, a member of Morgan Concierge team will work with you to build an itinerary for your visit to Jackson Hole!
