A classic Jackson Hole home in the extended base area of Teton Village, minutes from Grand Teton National Park. **Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.** An antique bench made from moose paddles, elk antlers, and aged leather that looks like it’s got a lot of stories to tell welcomes you to Four Pines 09, a four-bedroom reverse-living home in the Shooting Star community. Here there’s no doubt that you’re in Wyoming. (If the moose paddles and elk antlers aren’t big enough clues, maybe spotting a moose wandering along the stream that runs through the backyard will be. And yes, moose really do wander around the neighborhood.) The lower level of this house is dedicated to three bedrooms. Two of these are bedroom suites; the third is a bunk room with a generous bathroom directly across the hall. The secondary suite is at the westernmost side of the home, allowing for a wall of windows at the foot of the queen bed that frame the expanse of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, a snowball’s throw away. More immediately, you can enjoy watching the creek that burbles through Four Pines 09’s backyard (if moose do wander through, this creek and the riparian habitat along its banks are favorite spots). This suite’s bathroom has a combined shower/tub, separate WC, and double vanity. The other lower-level bedroom suite has two twin beds. Even though the custom headboards are happily upholstered in a classic western bandanna fabric, it will be a Black Forest cuckoo wall clock that you notice first in this room. Here, the ensuite bathroom has a combined shower/tub and a single vanity. The final bedroom on the lower level is a bunk room with four twin beds. These are more versatile than most bunks thanks to stairs to the top two bunks instead of a ladder. Across the hall, its bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower, separate WC, enough storage for four people to share it without issue, and a window from which you can see the slopes of the JHMR. Also on the lower level is the laundry room, a mud room, entrance to the garage, and a door that opens to a west- and north-facing terrace and the hot tub. As cozy and comfortable as the lower-level bedrooms are, the heart of Four Pines 09 is upstairs. Ascend the stairs to a landing that can be used for reading, board games, or as a home office. The primary suite is to the north, the combined kitchen/dining/great room is west, in the direction of JHMR. This layout allows both of these spaces to have the same ski-slope views as the secondary suite downstairs. In the kitchen/dining/great room, you’ll eventually notice the high ceilings, tailored curtains, and professional grade kitchen, but your first few days here will be all about admiring what’s outside the windows, and this space has windows facing west, north, and south. Each aspect feels more gorgeous than the last. A window over the kitchen sink frames Teton Pass and the southernmost Tetons (south). The western windows are the largest and face the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. (These also allow for spectacular sunset views.) See the Teton Range stretching into the distance through the north windows. Better than these windows though, is the west- and north-facing deck, which offers in-your-face views and also the opportunity to look down on the backyard creek. The décor and vibe of the primary suite are in tune with the rest of the house: understated Western. A gas-burning fireplace with a rock surround sits at the foot of the king bed, whose frame is a delicate update of a classic log bed frame. A window seat sits beneath east-facing windows, inviting you to relax here with a morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise. The closet is a walk-in. The primary suite’s bathroom has a deep soaking tub (set beneath a window that looks out at JHMR), double vanity, walk-in shower, and separate WC. Shooting Star is home to Jackson Hole’s most in-demand addresses. Four Pines 09 is within walking distance of the shopping and dining in the base area of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and just a few miles from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park. A ski shuttle to the slopes is available during ski season. A bike pathway connects Shooting Star to the towns of Wilson and Jackson. Once your lodging is secured, a member of Morgan Concierge team will work with you to build an itinerary for your visit to Jackson Hole!
